The Days of ’76 began as a way to honor Deadwood’s first pioneers who poured into the Black Hills in 1876 to settle the gold-filled gulches of Dakota Territory. The Days of '76 Rodeo has been a highlight each summer in the Black Hills for over 90 years. The PRCA performances of the event feature some of the top cowboys and cowgirls in the world.
Challenge

Days of ’76 came to us 2011 in need of a new, editable web presence that would not only to raise the profile of the rodeo, but to offer attendees more comprehensive real-time information during the event such as contestant standings and results.

Solution

In record time, we planned and developed a custom website with a rustic, engaging design to match the historic significance of the event. Starting with a simple content structure and fully editable website backend, we partnered to launch a top quality product in time for rodeo kick-off. The site allows Days of ’76 to spread the word about the event including schedules, competition details, and information for attendees and vendors alike.

We would like to tip our hats to the Digital Design team for a job well done!

We would like to tip our hats to the Digital Design team for a job well done on the Days of 76 website. It was an absolute pleasure working with their team. Through their phased approach, attention to detail, communication and training they helped take our web presence to a whole new level. We truly appreciate their dedication in developing an informative and visually appealing site on a very limited time-frame.
